On my way back from Meteora the storm was closing in behind me and had to stop for a quick photo. I managed to get my car in the nearest field and take off the rig as is with ff and everything on. Heavy as it was I took several vertical frames at 500mm f/22. Right straight from the camera didn’t seem much as the profile was flat. Once I fired up LR I was just blown away…. probably one of the best instincts I ve ever had for many months. Was all worth it!
After warming up and escape the blizzard and changing to warm clothes it is time to check your cards and see if any image is as good as you had seen it through the viewfinder. Seconds later when you see the first raw file your smile is the best thing you could get after so much cold.
It was all worth it! Magnificent panorama with snowy tops and the sunset with several different colors covering the mountain skyline.
